Occupational Therapy

After illness, injury or surgery, it is often necessary to learn exercises, tools and strategies to help with recovery.  In-home occupational therapy from a certified therapist will improve the efficiency of your patient care team and help to optimize the recovery outcomes.

An occupational therapist will train patients on how to follow their physician treatment plan, utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment and assess your physical needs and goals.

Conditions often referred to in-home occupational therapists include:

  • Stroke
  • Joint replacements
  • Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson’s disease
  • Head Injuries
  • Fractures or Breaks
  • Visual and hearing impairments
  • Post operation – short-term care
  • Physical disabilities
